A Night Prayer for When Your Mind Won’t Rest
Grace For Her
Father God,
Thank You for today.
Thank You for the breath in my lungs, for the strength to make it through, for the small wins I didn’t even notice. Thank You for protecting me in ways I didn’t see.
Lord, it’s late… and my mind is still awake.
You see every thought running through me.
You see the pressure, the responsibilities, the dreams I’m trying to build.
You see the exhaustion I don’t always admit.
Right now, I give it all back to You.
Your Word says in Psalm 4:8 that I can lie down and sleep in peace, for You alone make me dwell in safety.
So I choose peace.
I choose to trust that You are working even while I rest.
If I’ve worried too much today, forgive me. I know I did,
If I’ve tried to carry what wasn’t mine to carry, forgive me.
Help me release control and remember that You are still God — even at 1:20am.
Calm my nervous system.
Quiet every anxious thought.
Remove fear about tomorrow.
Replace it with assurance.
Cover my home.
Cover my family.
Cover my future.
Let Your angels guard this room tonight.
And as I close my eyes, remind me that I am not behind.
I am not forgotten.
I am not alone.
You are guiding me step by step — even in the dark.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
