You Have Keys, Not Just Prayers
Grace For Her
Matthew 16:19
“I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”
When Jesus spoke these words in Matthew 16:19, He wasn’t just talking about authority in a distant, spiritual sense. He was speaking about access. Keys represent access. Permission. Authority. Movement.
And if we’re honest, many women don’t feel like they have keys — they feel locked out.
Locked out of clarity.
Locked out of peace.
Locked out of breakthrough.
Locked out of purpose.
You may be praying for change, praying for direction, praying for peace — but still feeling stuck. This verse reminds you that in Christ, you are not powerless. You are not spiritually voiceless. You have been given authority to align your life with heaven’s truth.
Binding and loosing isn’t about control. It’s about agreement. What you allow to live in your mind matters. What you reject matters. You can choose not to agree with fear. You can refuse to partner with shame. You can “loose” peace into your home. You can “bind” negative patterns from taking root in your thoughts.
That doesn’t mean life instantly changes. It means you stop believing you are helpless.
Many women today are searching for confidence, spiritual authority, and clarity in their faith. Matthew 16:19 is a reminder that your prayers are not small. Your words are not empty. Your faith is not passive.
You carry keys.
Keys to speak truth when anxiety rises.
Keys to declare peace over chaos.
Keys to stand firm when doubt tries to creep in.
You are not locked out of God’s promises. You are invited to walk in them.
