A Prayer for When Fear and Worry Try to Take Over

Grace For Her

Heavenly Father,
I come before You today because my heart feels heavy and troubled. There’s a feeling of fear and worry trying to sit on my mind, and I don’t want it to stay.

Your Word says that You have not given me a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. So right now, in the name of Jesus, I reject every spirit of fear, anxiety, and dread trying to weigh me down.

Lord, fill my heart with Your peace. Remove every thought that tells me something bad is going to happen. Replace it with confidence and assurance that You are protecting me and my family.

Cover my mind with Your presence. Let Your peace guard my heart and my thoughts. Calm my body, calm my spirit, and quiet every storm rising within me.

I place my future in Your hands because You are in control. Nothing comes near me without Your knowledge. Help me trust You fully, even when I don’t understand everything around me.

Today, I choose faith over fear, peace over worry, and trust over anxiety. I will not let fear have a place in me.
